Oskabya

Oskabya is the organic electronic music project of Simon Erdmann.

After more than a decade in electronic music and club culture, his sound began moving beyond the dancefloor, into forests, water, acoustic instruments and collaborative musical spaces.

Every song begins with the sounds of nature. Field recordings become part of the composition itself. The rhythms, textures and movements of the natural world form the foundation upon which each piece unfolds.

Oskabya Hybrid DJ sets reveal the more dancefloor driven side of the project. Rooted in many years of house and electronic music culture, the sets move through organic, deep and tribal electronic sounds, guided less by genre than by energy, atmosphere and the people on the dancefloor.
